It is the responsibility of the cook to manage and operate the kitchen in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.
The cook must maintain the kitchen and cooking area in a safe, orderly, clean and sanitary manner and prepare a variety of foods including special diets.
The role includes assisting with meal serving, cleaning, reporting resident care concerns, and participating in orientation and ongoing training of dietary staff.
