Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of this position is to promote highway safety through training and monitoring.
  • This position must supervise, coordinate, and evaluate training of new personnel as well as continuing education of DMV examiners related to Commercial Driver License policy and procedures.
  • This position is responsible for keeping the issuance of commercial driver licenses in compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations as these pertain to the Commercial Motor Vehicle Safety Act which was passed by the United States Congress in 1986.
