Job Summary
The Aircraft Mechanic I inspects, troubleshoots malfunctions, rigs, repairs and modifies aircraft structures, structural components and aircraft systems of moderate difficulty.
This worker reads and interprets manufacturers and maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Minimum of 5 years aircraft structural maintenance experience
Ability to interpret technical orders, blueprints, or other written guidance
Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical components
Broad working knowledge of C-130J/H aircraft systems
Experience performing periodic, and other hourly, special, or calendar inspections
Proficient with using USAF Technical Orders, DTADS, AFTO 781 forms, and IMDS
Experience with making entries in aircraft logs and records
