Job Summary

• The primary responsibility of your job position is to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty, in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Essential duties include assisting the Director of Nursing Services in directing nursing activities, participating in policy development, ensuring reference materials are current, and making reports to the Director.
• The role requires participation in committee meetings, personnel functions such as ensuring adequate staffing, and providing direct nursing care as necessary.
