** The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a part-time Speech Therapist to provide inpatient services for adults. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and possess relevant licensure and certifications. **

Job Summary

  • The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides inpatient and/or outpatient speech language pathology specific services that include diagnostic and clinical assessments, screening, development of treatment plans including goals, treatments, and education to patients/caregivers/staff.
  • The SLP communicates with medical multidisciplinary teams, assesses and inputs orders for patient diet texture and liquid viscosity as appropriate, is responsible for documenting and submitting charges for services rendered, and is responsible for documentation of evaluation, treatment, and education per department/insurance/state licensing board/Joint Commission standards.

Key Requirements
