Job Summary
This role is responsible for assisting in planning, developing, and directing the facility's social service programs to meet medically related emotional and social needs of residents.
The incumbent must assist residents in achieving the highest practicable level of self-care, independence, and well-being while managing anxieties and stress caused by illness.
The position requires maintaining strict confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information and reporting any suspected fraud or unauthorized disclosures.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW) required
Minimum one year supervised social work experience in healthcare setting
Social work licensure (LSW, LMSW, LCSW) if required by state law
Completion of mandatory in-service trainings including HIPAA and abuse prevention
