The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director run a creative and interactive activities program designed to meet the interests and physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of each resident.
Essential duties include participating in planning and conducting activities, communicating effectively with various stakeholders, and assisting in developing monthly activity calendars and maintaining attendance records.
The role also involves assisting with discharge planning, activity care plans, resident assessments, and arranging transportation for residents when necessary.
