Job Summary
The Assistant Sports Turf Manager will serve as the primary sports turf manager for Husky Football and Softball facilities and will be responsible for the daily preparation of those spaces for practices and games.
This position will require all types of sports field maintenance labor such as: turf grass management, sod cutting and installation, turf grass sprigging, Irrigation management, mowing, trimming and use of blowers, fertilizing with a walk-behind fertilizer, field markings and logo painting.
Pay Range Minimum: $49,740.00 annual Pay Range Maximum: $66,720.00 annual Other Compensation: - Taxable benefits include tickets to UW Intercollegiate home competitions.

Key Requirements
Two years of experience as a Gardener or equivalent
One year of college level training in botany, horticulture, forestry, landscape, irrigation or allied field
Experience with athletic field maintenance
Valid driver’s license
Valid Washington State public operator’s pesticide license or obtain within ninety days
