Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • 4-8 years flight test engineering experience
  • First-flight event support experience
  • Ground control station operation skills
  • Autopilot architecture familiarity (ArduPilot/MAVLink)
  • Airspace coordination and FAA regulatory knowledge

Nice-to-have

  • Formal flight test training from NTPS or military schools
  • Experience with attritable UAS or loitering munitions
  • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
  • Range safety operations and explosive safety procedures
  • AI/ML-enabled autonomy system testing experience

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, or electrical engineering
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Active U.S. Secret security clearance required
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Ability to work in-office 5 days a week
