  • Manages department budget, controls costs, orders food and supplies, and supervises dietary staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, maintains a clean and safe kitchen environment, and coordinates with other departments for resident satisfaction.
