Job Summary

  • It is the responsibility of the cook to manage and operate the kitchen in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.
  • The cook must maintain the kitchen and cooking area in a safe, orderly, clean and sanitary manner and prepare tasteful meals including special diets.
  • The cook will assist with serving meals, supervise dietary staff during absence of supervisor, and report resident care concerns to management.
