  • The Electrical Field Engineer is responsible for activities relating to construction engineering within the electrical discipline, including interpreting electrical design drawings and specifications, cable installations and terminations, field verification of materials, and technical direction to field personnel.
  • Major responsibilities include coordinating with engineering on constructability and design issues, establishing an electrical design/field engineering working relationship, coordinating with the Procurement Organization, and supporting the electrical construction quality program.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction related discipline or 12-14 years of experience
  • 8-10 years of progressive construction, procurement, or engineering experience
  • authorized to work and remain in the United States
  • physically able to conduct field inspections
  • Experience in construction and technical inspection of electrical design
  • Working knowledge with ASME NQA-1 1994, 2008 and Addendum 2009
  • Detailed knowledge of the National Electrical Code and NFPA 70E Codes
