Key Requirements

  • High School Grad or Equiv
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
  • Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) OR State Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA)
  • Ability to prepare surgical suites
  • Knowledge of instruments, supplies, and equipment
  • Understanding of procedures and surgeon needs
  • Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively
  • Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
