Job Summary

  • The James Facilities Planning and Operations Department is responsible for overseeing and coordinating activities that support the delivery of high quality patient services and effective hospital operations.
  • Under the direction and supervision of the Director James Operations, Facilities and New Tower, the Building Administrator uses business expertise to provide support to department operations including project management, resource planning and development, procurement, organization, process improvement, standardization initiatives, building safety and compliance, and environmental services specific to the The James Outpatient Care campus.
  • The James is the only cancer program in the country that features a National Cancer Institute ( NCI ) designated comprehensive cancer center aligned with a nationally ranked academic medical center on the campus of one of the nation’s largest public universities.
