Job Summary
Administer patient assessments, oversee the assessment process, setting the assessment schedules and assuring that assessments are done in an accurate and timely manner.
Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician, verify the identity of the resident before administering the medication/treatment.
Participate in developing, planning, conducting, and scheduling in service training classes that provide instructions on “how to do the job,” and ensure a well educated nursing service department.
