Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • 2 years cardiac cath lab experience
  • Current IL RTR, RTN, RCVT, or Paramedic license
  • Arrive within 30 minutes for call shifts
  • Lift up to 35 pounds without assistance
  • Stand for long periods wearing lead apron

Nice-to-have

  • Demonstrated proficiency in PTCA and EPS
  • Experience with various age groups of patients
  • Ability to teach procedures to staff
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • RCIS certification within two years

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years cardiac cath lab experience
  • AAS in RTR or RTN license required
  • Current Illinois state license as RTR, RTN, RCVT, or Paramedic
  • ACLS and IABP certifications required
  • Obtain RCIS certification within two years of employment
