Job Summary
This role offers the opportunity to join a global team of over 33,000 staff dedicated to helping vulnerable children overcome poverty in dangerous places.
The primary responsibility is to spearhead economic recovery and resilience-building efforts for households and communities impacted by war, disasters, and humanitarian emergencies.
Candidates must be able to work in insecure or natural disaster-prone contexts with work hours often exceeding 12 hours per day during critical response periods.

Minimum Economic Recovery Standards knowledge
Emergency response and disaster context experience
Technical supervision of field staff
Donor engagement and proposal development
Evidence building and monitoring systems
Nice-to-have
Women economic empowerment program experience
Agricultural and non-agricultural livelihood programs
HEAT certification or equivalent
Cross-cultural sensitivity and influencing skills
Fluency in UN languages like French or Arabic
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Livelihoods/ED, Economy, Agriculture, or related field
Master's Degree in Economic development, Business administration, or Food security preferred
Three to five years of technical expertise in Economic development or Livelihoods/ED
Two years or more NGO experience in humanitarian and development fields
Experience working with UN agencies and government ministries
