Job Summary

  • This is a 3-4-year competency-based Maintenance Technician Development program designed to meet the needs for qualified Maintenance Technicians.
  • The program includes on-the-job training, an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) study program, and classes at a local Ivy Tech community college.
  • Upon successful completion, the trainee will have the opportunity to become a level 6 Maintenance Technician with benefits including Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance, Incentives/Bonus Opportunities, and Matching 401k.

Key Requirements

  • Must be willing to take written and hands-on assessments
  • Must complete required learning assignments on own time
  • Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and shutdowns
  • Must pass colorblind test
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, medium to heavy duty assembly and technical environment
  • Must be able to work underground
  • Must be able to work standing on concrete for 8+ hours
  • Must withstand frequent repetitive movement of hands with tooling
