Job Summary

  • As a float pool nurse, you will have the opportunity to work across multiple world-renowned specialties to deliver hope and healing to patients from around the world in some of our most high acuity areas.
  • This role supports the NYP/Weill Cornell Medical Center Critical Care inpatient units including the Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, Neuroscience ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, Step-Down Units and more.
  • You’ll have the freedom to explore new specialties and experiences in your nursing career and gain exposure to a broad range of challenges on our highly specialized units.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum two years' experience as a Critical Care RN
  • SDU experience
  • Cardiac Surgical experience
  • Experience with caring for Post-Cesarean Section patients/Obstetrical emergencies
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Current NYS RN licensure
  • BCLS and ACLS certification
  • Proven experience to work autonomously in high pressure situations
