Job Summary
Promotes family-centered care by providing services to meet the psychosocial, emotional, and developmental needs of patients and families.
In collaboration with the medical and/or nursing staff, conducts medical play, psychosocial preparations and support during procedures.
Plans, implements, and evaluates programs and activities for individuals and groups of patients in the playrooms, at the bedside, in outpatient clinics, and in the Emergency Department, ensuring a safe, supportive environment.
