Job Summary

  • Promotes family-centered care by providing services to meet the psychosocial, emotional, and developmental needs of patients and families.
  • In collaboration with the medical and/or nursing staff, conducts medical play, psychosocial preparations and support during procedures.
  • Plans, implements, and evaluates programs and activities for individuals and groups of patients in the playrooms, at the bedside, in outpatient clinics, and in the Emergency Department, ensuring a safe, supportive environment.
