Job Summary
The successful candidate will support the core curriculum of the Theatre Arts and Theatre Studies majors, particularly in theatre history, dramatic literature, dramaturgy, and criticism.
The successful candidate will teach five undergraduate courses per academic year, contribute to the First-Year Writing Seminar program, and teach undergraduate Education Studies courses.
Tenure-track faculty at Furman are expected to maintain an active agenda of scholarly and/or creative work appropriate to rank, contribute meaningfully to departmental and university service, and participate in initiatives associated with The Furman Advantage.
