Job Summary

  • PATH seeks a Regional Infectious Disease Surveillance Advisor for the STRengthening Infectious disease DEtection Systems (STRIDES) Project to support and strengthen surveillance, detection and analytical capacity of infectious diseases across both human and animal health.
  • Responsibilities include overseeing and providing technical leadership for day-to-day implementation of surveillance activities in AMEE, leading the development and coordination of surveillance activities, and providing technical oversight to country-based staff.
  • The role requires at least 5 years of international experience applying epidemiological principles and methods in the design, implementation, and management of surveillance systems, with demonstrated expertise in zoonotic diseases and outbreak investigation across AMEE.

  • Experience leading national and regional infectious disease surveillance projects
  • English proficiency required
