The University of Arkansas at Monticello is seeking an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice to teach undergraduate courses and engage students in research. The ideal candidate should hold a doctorate in Criminal Justice or a related field, with a preference for experience in policing, law, or research methods

Job Summary

  • Candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate classes in criminal justice, including general education courses and courses in the candidate's field of specialization.
  • Preference will be given to applicants who have teaching or research experience in one or more of the following fields: policing, law and legal practice, research methods, or fields that otherwise compliment current department strengths.
  • Candidates will be expected to teach in person on the UAM campus; experience with online teaching and field experience in areas of specialization is highly desirable.
