Job Summary
The RN prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care of patients; participates in patient and family teaching; and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other patient-team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
Assessment and identification of patient needs, implementation of appropriate interventions, delegation of nursing care activities, and provision of supervision are key job duties.
