• Under the guidance of a certified Water Services Technician or Senior Technician assists in the operating and maintenance of the City’s water and wastewater system in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
• Incumbents in this classification must meet the qualification to promote to Water Services Technician within three (3) years of employment.

Key Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class "C" Texas driver’s license
• Six (6) months experience (Trainee)
• Three (3) years experience (Technician)
• Five (5) years experience (Senior)
• Class D Distribution and Class I Collection License (Trainee)
• Class C Distribution and Class II Collection License (Technician)
• Class C Distribution and Class III Collection License OR Class B Distribution and Class II Collection License (Senior)
