Job Summary

  • The Airborne Sensor Operator will execute all assigned preflight, flight, and post-flight duties to safely operate an assigned sensor suite supporting a variety of missions.
  • Selected candidates must possess verifiable experience providing direct support to Special Operations Forces (SOF) ground forces using E/O-IR Full Motion Video sensors.
  • Leidos seeks individuals who disrupt the status quo and are willing to deploy for rotations up to 90 days to various CONUS or OCONUS operating locations.

Must-have

  • operate E/O IR sensors airborne
  • provide direct support to SOF ground forces
  • execute preflight and post flight duties
  • produce intelligence products using Microsoft Office
  • apply ORM principles in tactical environment

Nice-to-have

  • demonstrable interpretation and analysis experience
  • willingness to work long non-regular hours
  • experience with sensor upgrades and maintenance
  • ability to troubleshoot mission systems
  • previous combat environment ISR experience

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 700 flight hours as aircrew member
  • Minimum 2 years' experience on multi-place military/government ISR aircraft
  • Active Top Secret with SCI clearance
  • Current FAA Class II/III Medical Certificate issued within 6 months
  • Valid United States Passport valid for 12 months after start date
  • Current physiological training or altitude chamber completion proof
