Job Summary

• This position requires strong expertise in inpatient rehabilitation coding and a comprehensive understanding of health information management practices, compliance standards, and documentation integrity.
• The HIM Manager is responsible for maintaining the security, confidentiality, completeness, and accuracy of medical records in accordance with policies and procedures and within the guidelines of regulatory agencies.
• Oversees compliance efforts related to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Review Choice Demonstration (RCD) and the Final Rule Audit (FRA).
