Vertex Inc is seeking a Principal Consultant for their SAP Practice focused on Tax Technology, responsible for managing all phases of tax technology implementations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Vertex Tax solutions and project management, with a strong emphasis on client relationship management
Job Summary
This position is responsible for all phases of a Vertex Tax Technology implementations as part of the SAP Practice, including performing project planning, requirements definition, system configuration, testing, knowledge transfer, and development of custom documentation.
Independently manages and ensures all phases of Vertex projects including, review and analysis of client requirements, solution design and build, testing and providing client support as needed, is accomplished.
Continues developing leadership traits, gains industry knowledge and project implementation skills and takes guidance from Principal Vertex Consultants and Practice Leads and contributes to projects as needed.

Key Requirements
Fifteen (15) plus years of experience in Vertex Tax / Technology Implementations and Project Management
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
In-depth tax application experience with public accounting firms and/or fortune 1000 companies in transaction tax
