Workday is seeking a Senior Accounting & ESG Reporting Manager to lead their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting efforts and provide technical accounting support. Job Summary

  • Play a key role in the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting program while providing technical accounting guidance and operational accounting support to the broader Controllership organization.
  • Directly support the team’s mission to develop compliant, comparable, and reliable ESG disclosures required by governing bodies and execute against and support a clear project plan for new ESG reporting requirements.
  • Support the SEC filing process, including preparation and tie out of 10-Q, 10-K, Proxy Statement, and earnings materials, and lead technical accounting research for highly complex transactions.

Salary

Primary Location Base Pay Range: $152,200 USD - $228,400 USD; Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $128,600 USD - $228,400 USD; Bonus/Equity: May be eligible for Workday Bonus Plan or role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Direct experience with ESG accounting
  • Direct experience in an accounting or auditing role
  • CPA license strongly preferred
