Penn State Athletics is seeking a part-time Adaptive Athletics Assistant to support practices and competition travel for adaptive athletes. This role involves overseeing athletic practices, maintaining equipment, and assisting with travel logistics while requiring flexible availability and a background in coaching

Job Summary

  • Assist with carrying out practices both on the track and in the weight room, including timing and/or recording data from the workouts.
  • Oversees the maintenance of the wheelchair racers, including minor repairs, adjusting compensators, tire maintenance, and monitoring wear and tear of adaptive racing gloves.
  • Must be available for practice Monday-Friday (flexible hours, approximately 4-10 hours per week) and willing to travel to competition sites approximately 6-8 trips, April-August.
