Job Summary

  • This is a Transportation Worker II position located in Guilford County Bridge Maintenance.
  • Work includes, but not limited to, pipe installation, installing erosion control devices, trenching, and shoring operations, structure inspection, welding, pile driving, steel fabrication and steel beam repair, driving spikes, installing traffic control, flagging, and operation of heavy equipment in work zones as assigned by supervisor.
  • The selected applicant will be expected to legally operate a motor vehicle and have a valid North Carolina Class A Commercial Driver’s License with Tanker (N) endorsement.
