Job Summary

  • You’ll provide technical support on various engineering ship design projects as an individual contributor but also as part of an engineering team primarily in support of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and the Military Sealift Command (MSC).
  • Perform engineering site visits and shipchecks at various Navy and Commercial Shipyards and conduct electrical analyses, generate 2D electrical design drawings to implement electrical power systems, electromechanical systems and control systems modifications which comply with commercial and naval engineering requirements.

  • Capable to perform design shipchecks onboard MSC and Navy ships
