  • The role requires working closely with show producers to conduct pre-production programming and make on-the-fly decisions during broadcasts.
  • Candidates must be able to work under pressure with early morning hours including holidays.

Must-have

  • 5+ years recent experience in television directing
  • 3+ years recent experience directing LIVE newscasts

Nice-to-have

  • OverDrive APC or other control room automation experience
  • Knowledge of Evertz DreamCatcher system
  • Strong computer skills and quick-thinking problem-solving

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Film, TV production, Communications, or equivalent experience
  • 1+ year experience with control room automation preferably Ross OverDrive APC
  • Must join local union after 30 days of employment
