  • Performs prescribed MRI imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision, competently executing a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and initiative.
  • Reviews patient history, educates patients regarding procedures and equipment, and prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications when ordered, monitoring patient condition.
  • Prepares equipment and supplies, selects appropriate exposure factors, implements safety standards, performs quality control, and troubleshoots equipment malfunctions.
