Job Summary

  • The Salvation Army is seeking a values-driven, proactive Criminal Justice Worker to support clients involved in the criminal justice system through tailored interventions, case management and person-led recovery support.
  • As a Criminal Justice Worker, you will deliver tailored interventions, provide day-to-day service delivery including education, group work, assessment, referral and case work, and develop, monitor and document individual treatment plans.

SCHADS Award Level 4; Salary packaging: $15,900 tax-free + $2,650 meals & entertainment; Benefits: Flexible working conditions, Health, fitness and financial benefits, 12 weeks paid parental leave, Up to 8 weeks additional leave, Up to 5 days paid volunteer leave

Key Requirements

  • Diploma in AOD, Community Services, Case Management or related field
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Valid NSW Driver Licence
  • Completion of 4 AOD Skill Set Units
  • Experience supporting people impacted by substance use
  • Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
  • Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities
  • Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
