The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting an independent research study in forensic biology or forensic chemistry using appropriate analytical instrumentation and software and performing preliminary data analyses.
Job duties will include: Designing and writing a research plan for a topic in forensic biology or forensic chemistry, Implementing the research plan and collecting experimental data while using appropriate controls.

Key Requirements
B.S. (or equivalent) in forensic science, biology, chemistry, or related field
At least one year of relevant laboratory experience
Must be a current Penn State student or employee, or an external applicant
