Job Summary

  • The Telecommunications Technician is responsible for maintaining company networks and telephony systems to meet company needs.
  • Assist Network team with configuration and deployment of company WANs, LANs, Voice, and wireless networks, including routers, firewalls, switches, access points, telephony systems and other telecom equipment.
  • Liaison with providers to resolve outages and issues with internet and telephony services in a timely manner.

  • Familiarity with twisted pair, fiber, and coax installation methods
  • Ability to use basic cable tester, crimp, and other installation tools
  • Working knowledge of computers, hardware, and software in a Microsoft environment
  • After-hours support on a monthly rotational schedule required
