Job Summary

  • This position exists to ensure global Timken sites are capable of reliably providing quality products to meet the requirements of Timken customers while complying to all industry and regulatory standards.
  • Lead and/or participate in the resolution of global Timken facility quality issues through identification of root cause and implementation and verification of effective corrective and preventive action.
  • Develop and maintain quality system reporting including all weekly and monthly plant quality metrics, audit results, quality event reports, cost of quality, etc.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Science or related field with 4+ years of experience
  • Masters Degree in Engineering, Science or related field with 1+ years of experience
  • Internal or Lead auditor certified preferred
  • Knowledge of Quality Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA and PPAP)
  • Knowledge of industry certification requirements such as IATF, ISO, and AS
