Smartcabinetry is seeking a Free Trade Zone Specialist for a fully remote position, responsible for managing fixed assets in compliance with FTZ regulations. The ideal candidate should have a background in accounting or business administration, strong communication skills in both English and Spanish, and knowledge of the Free Trade Zone regime in Costa Rica

Job Summary

  • The role is responsible for the overall operation and performance of the Free Trade Zone (FTZ) regime and the Asset Management process.
  • Perform periodic physical inventories, reviews, internal audits, and accounting reconciliations of fixed assets, ensuring compliance with FTZ regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support in FTZ, Customs and accounting compliance activities as assigned by the direct supervisor.
