Job Summary
The Patient Companion/Safety Sitter provides continuous, direct observation and basic non-invasive patient support to promote patient safety, comfort and well-being.
This role supports licensed nursing staff by performing limited, clearly defined tasks under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
The position requires the ability to remain alert with uninterrupted focus on the patient at all times.
