Key Requirements

  • Graduate of Health Care Aide program or provincial equivalent certificate
  • Minimum 500 hours of theory and practicum in Ontario or Alberta
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification recommended
  • Complete Vulnerable Sector Check including Criminal Background Check within six months
