Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of this job is to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department to meet the needs of the residents based on budget, census, and as may be directed by facility administration.
  • Essential duties include maintaining employee records, completing monthly nursing schedules, coordinating variances with the DNS, and answering employee calls regarding staffing/scheduling functions.
  • The role requires the ability to cope with mental and emotional stress, work harmoniously with personnel, and potentially assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
