The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director run a creative and interactive activities program tailored to meet the physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of each resident.
This role involves participating in planning and conducting individual, small and large group activities, as well as assisting with communication between employees, residents, families, and external agencies.
The position requires physical activities such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and includes responsibilities like maintaining attendance records and assisting with documentation and discharge planning.
