Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Interior Architecture/Design, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or closely related field
  • At least three years of experience in facilities assessment, space audits, campus planning, or higher education space data collection
  • Experience interpreting blueprints and floor plans
  • Experience in Facilities Inventory and Classification Manual (FICM) space typologies
  • Experience with National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) functional categories
  • Experience developing data strategies or implementing database solutions
  • Experience building repeatable, standards-based reports/dashboards
  • Experience with team leadership and cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience in facilities/space analytics
  • Implementation of the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) criteria
  • Performance of site audits in support of capital planning
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Data Analytics, Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office scripting
  • Expertise with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for Power BI data modeling, measures, and performance-optimized calculations
  • Experience performing benefit–cost analysis (BCA), life–cycle costing (LCC), net present value (NPV) modeling
  • Experience with risk-adjusted capital prioritization for facilities or infrastructure portfolios
  • Request for proposals (RFP) authorship
  • Experience coordinating consultant work
  • Experience collaborating with research stakeholders
