Kern River Transitional Care is seeking a 3rd Shift Med Tech to assist in administering medications to residents under the supervision of nursing staff. The ideal candidate must be a licensed Medication Aide with a high school diploma or equivalent and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills

Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of your job position is to assist in the administering of medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician.
  • Accurately and safely prepare, administer, and document the oral and/or topical medications that are commonly used in this facility.
  • Agree not to disclose resident’s protected health information and promptly report suspected or known violations of such disclosure to the Administrator.
