This position is responsible for leading the roadway design group, including staff development and overseeing projects, their delivery, and adhering to budgets and timelines.
The Associate Vice President is also expected to understand and communicate local market conditions, personnel needs and industry trends.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining professional relationships with local and state governments, private clients, and community leaders, and directing and overseeing transportation design projects through the project managers.

Key Requirements
15+ years’ experience in Transportation Design
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
Tennessee PE license or ability to achieve
Experience leading and directing individuals or a team
Understanding of roadway design guidance from AASHTO
Experience with TDOT guidelines, procedures, plan preparation
Experience with MicroStation/Geopak and Open Roads Designer
Significant experience in development of roadway plans and specifications
Experience and relationships with TDOT, local municipalities
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
