Job Summary
The position provides technical support essential for maintaining year-round research activities that depend on continuous plant care, plant pathogen handling, and coordinated field and greenhouse experiments.
The Technician III will be responsible for performing laboratory, greenhouse, growth chamber, and field research with diseases of field crops, including corn, soybean, small grains, and alfalfa.

Key Requirements
Associate’s degree and up to 2 years of relevant experience
Prior experience working with plants and/or plant pathogens
Knowledge of laboratory, greenhouse, and field safety protocols
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Valid and unrestricted NYS driver’s license
Ability to obtain NYS commercial pesticide applicator license
