The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective operation of equipment at a recycling facility for the purpose of transferring, spreading, covering, baling, loading, unloading, and/or compacting waste or recyclable material.

Safe operation of forklift
Safe operation of commercial compactor
Safe operation of tractor truck
Perform pre- and post-operation inspections
LOTO procedures for machinery

Ability to learn stacking bales properly
Collaborate with team members for training
Ability to cross train for other positions
Ability to perform on the sort line
Key Requirements
Must have reliable transportation
Ability to maintain a reliable attendance record
