Key Requirements

  • Associate's degree with five years' direct experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Working knowledge of applicable rules, regulations and guidelines governing insurance payers and reimbursement preferred
  • Medical terminology preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred
  • Data entry, keyboarding (WPM 45)
  • Basic understanding of ICD 9/10 and CPT codes
