  • Serve as a specialty resource related to patient care, imaging, and technology, and perform the development component for clinical and research imaging.
  • Advise on MR conditional guidelines or execute decisions regarding approval or denial of scanning for specific implants, and perform American College of Radiology (ACR) Accreditation.

Key Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Registered Technologist (R.T.(R)(ARRT))
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging [R.T.(R)(MR)(ARRT)] Certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • American Board of Magnetic Resonance Safety (ABMRS) within one year
  • 5 years of recent modality experience
